Here’s my Valentine’s inspired work look that I wore on a quick business trip to Sacramento on Wednesday. I love this blush pink blazer that I purchased at Zara (you guessed it!) last year. It’s girly, but still on trend – and it’s Pantone’s color of the year! I know I will get many more uses this spring. I paired it with a simple black dress that I picked up at the All Saint’s Outlet store in Cabazon. I love this black dress, it’s so easy to dress up or down. And if you are ever in southern CA, you HAVE to visit the Cabazon + Desert Hills Premium outlets, it’s by far my favorite and they have so many great designer stores.

I took some quick snaps of my work outfit this morning at the top of hotel parking garage I was staying at. It’s the perfect spot for setting up your tripod without getting any funny looks!
This skirt was a great buy at Zara, only $19.90, and it comes in 3 different colors. I have been looking for a camel midi skirt and can’t wait to style it differently for work and weekend wear. Hope you all have a great weekend! xx
London Fog Trench, Zara Tweed Top (Similar), Forever 21 Scarf, J.Crew Pants, Banana Republic Pumps
Last month, I took a quick work trip up to beautiful Napa Valley (well, technically Vallejo). I was able to sneak out of the office a little bit early to drive around the valley and have a glass of champagne at Domaine Carneros. It was beautiful as always up here, despite the grape vines being dormant, with little mustard flowers growing between the vines.
I went during one of the days were it rained all week in California, so I knew taking this trench with me was a necessity. I was specifically looking for a black trench coat because I knew I would have to travel to some rainy places at some point, and this one by London Fog fit the bill. I am usually a small, but in jacket the xs fit better – and it has a detachable lining for extra warmth.
