These are my first time wearing culottes and I think I am in love! (I’ve already purchased the same ones in black). Although I’m of average height (5’5”), I thought that it would make me look short, but paired with the right heel, I feel that it looks pretty elongating :). And these heels: ever since the lace-up trend started last year, I’d been looking for a pair of neutral pumps that I could wear to work and weekend, and these ones were perfect, I love the suede, sandy color. I might have mentioned in another post, but I love Banana Republic shoes! Many of my heels are from BR.
Hope you all are having a great weekend! We’re currently in San Francisco for a quick weekend getaway and to watch the Chinese New Years Parade. Pictures coming soon! xx
As much as a cliché Valentine’s is, my Husband and I almost always celebrate it (and I actually love dressing up and going to a fancy dinner!) We also count this day as our “dating” anniversary, so it’s a special day for us. If you saw my IG post, you saw me mention that we have been together for 15 years! Since our freshman year of college <3
Last Saturday, Riley and I met up with some friends to shoot at the famous Love Wall in Los Angeles. It was the day before Valentine’s day, so it was fun to see other couples lined up to take photos in front of the wall in their cute V-day looks.
I was so surprised that Riley didn’t immediately take off her little hair bow and sunglasses, which she usually does! But how cute is she, with her little romper! The top that I’m wearing is from Free People and I’m wearing a denim skirt underneath to wear it as a dress. It’ll also look great in skinnies.
Hope you enjoy these photos! xx
Here’s my Valentine’s inspired work look that I wore on a quick business trip to Sacramento on Wednesday. I love this blush pink blazer that I purchased at Zara (you guessed it!) last year. It’s girly, but still on trend – and it’s Pantone’s color of the year! I know I will get many more uses this spring. I paired it with a simple black dress that I picked up at the All Saint’s Outlet store in Cabazon. I love this black dress, it’s so easy to dress up or down. And if you are ever in southern CA, you HAVE to visit the Cabazon + Desert Hills Premium outlets, it’s by far my favorite and they have so many great designer stores.
